Seeking for alternative medicine

My husband had a stomach pain, went to see three allopaths and did not help him with the pain. On the third day, I was about to take him to the ER and before that I try the last resource nux vomica and in 15 minutes, he got up and the pain was gone.
Condition: my husband had pain near the stomach. The traditional western practioner could not find the reasons and no way to cure it. So I found my sister's homeopath practioner. She informed him to do the liver cleaning and take some remedies. After proceeding the
treatment for a few days, he was not pains any more.

Before this issue, I had been studying the nutrition and Chinese medical for a long time.After it, I was wondering how and what homeopathy and wanted to know how more about it.
How it benefited you or your family.
I knew how to treat the minor illness to my family members. Of course, I hope to become the homeopathic practioner one day.
