It doesn’t have to be a heatwave for you to make sure you’re prepared for Summer. Whilst temperatures have been especially high this year, even more moderate temperatures can present health challenges. Take special care with children, the elderly and vulnerable.
Start by doing the obvious. Keep hydrated and drink plenty of water. Use sunscreens or sunblocks. Try to spend time in the shade during peak heat times. And cover up with loose fitting clothes and wear a hat and sunglasses. Hopefully, these things will help you stay safe and protected in the sun.
